CDM can be easily deployed via Microsoft Intune. This allows CDM to interact with devices and applications managed by Microsoft Intune. 

Prerequisites

   Click here to download the intunewin file for CDM V3 from the IAM Cloud Resource Centre.

Once downloaded, you will notice that the following file is available in the C:\Users\UserName\Downloads folder: CloudDriveMapper.intunewin.

Deploying .NET Desktop Runtime 6.0.6 (x64) to managed devices

Before you begin, please ensure that you are logged in to your Office 365 portal account.

1.   Select Admin from the App launcher to open the Microsoft admin center.

2.   Select Show all on the Navigation menu.

3.   Select Endpoint Manager to open the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center.

4.   Select Apps from the Navigation menu and then Windows on the Apps | Overview page.

5.   Click Add on the Windows | Windows apps page and then select Windows app (Win) 32 from the App type list.

6.   Click Select to go to the Add App page.

7.   Click Select app package file on the Add App page and then File Upload to select and upload the CloudDriveMapper.intunewin file.

This is the .intunewin file you downloaded from the IAM Cloud Resource Centre and saved at the following location earlier: C:\Users\UserName\Downloads.


8.   Click OK.

9.   In the App Information section, type IAM Cloud in the Publisher text box, update other settings as desired or leave these as default and then click Next.

10.   In the Program section, type the complete installation command line used to install this app in the Install  command text box: msiexec /i "CloudDriveMapper.msi" /qn LICENSEKEY=your license key (please note US/international spelling of license)


11.   Leave all other settings as default and click Next.

12.   In the Requirements section, select the 64-bit check box from the Operating system architecture list and any version of Windows 10 (or higher) from the Minimum operating system list.

13.   Leave all other settings as default and click Next.

14.   In the Detection rules section, select Manually configure detection rules from the Rules format list to detect the presence of the app and then click + Add to create a detection rule.

15. Do the following on the Detection rule blade and then click OK:

   Select File from the Rule type list


•   Type the full path of the Cloud Drive Mapper folder on your computer in the Path text box. For example, C:\Program Files\IAM Cloud\Cloud Drive Mapper - v3


•   Type the name of the file or folder to detect in the File or folder text box. For example, Cloud Drive Mapper.exe


•   Select String (version) from the Detection method list


•   Select Greater than or equal to from the Operator list


•   Type 3.3.0.0 (or the version you are installing) in the Value text box


•   Leave Associated with a 32-bit app on 64-bit clients as default.



16.   Click Next.

17.   In the Dependencies section, click Next

18.   In the Supersedence (preview) section, click Next.

19.   In the Assignments section, specify an assignment group for deployment, based on your corporate deployment policy and then click Next.

20.   In the Review + create section, review the summary of the settings and then click Create to complete the process of deploying CDM V3 to managed devices.
